The Sandra Vasquez Community Center at Millennium Park had another successful year in 2018. The hall was booked for various events for 252 days last year.

The Center is used by senior groups, city commissions and people having family events. It also serves as a polling place for elections.

The Center is the former First Baptist Church, which the City purchased in 2002, converting the grounds to Millennium Park and repurposing the building as the Vasquez Center.

The building can accommodate up to 100 and is equipped with tables, chairs and a small kitchen for food warm up.

If you are planning an event, don’t wait too long to book your date as the calendar fills up fast for this popular venue. Rental fees are $225 for residents, $325 for non-residents. For more information, call City Hall at 708-343-8700.
