I am a seven year veteran of the Army and have been a Legionnaire since 2006. If you, or someone you know is a veteran, and would like to join, please visit our Post located at 241 E. North Avenue, it opens at 12:00 p.m. Or you can call 708-343-5545 and ask to speak with our Membership Chairman, Senior Vice Commander, Tom Foreit, for details. Membership in The American Legion requires service in one of the branches of the U. S. Armed Forces, either active duty, reserve or National Guard. Membership is an integral part of the American Legion and we encourage all veterans to join.

Greetings from the American Legion Auxiliary, Department of Illinois. My name is, April Harriett, and I am the President of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 888.
