State Representative Kathleen Willis

State and federal laws offer health care assistance and tax breaks for seniors, along with providing crucial protections from identity theft and elder abuse, but knowing where to even begin sorting everything out can be a tall order.  Getting all this information can be a challenge, and making sense of complex laws and endless options can be frustrating.

Further, our region is fortunate to be home to many great community healthcare providers and non-profit organizations aimed at providing great resources to working families facing difficult times.

To assist our community, I am hosting my first annual Community Fair this November in Melrose Park.  The event will bring together state and local agencies, health care providers, senior service organizations and advocates who will be available to provide information about their services and answer questions that local families may have about issues such as available resources they can utilize relating t]o health and wellness.

The First Annual Community Health Fair will take place on Saturday, November 2nd, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Melrose Park Village Hall Gymnasium, located at 1000 N. 25th Ave.

For more information on the Community Health Fair, please contact my constituent service office at 708-562-6970, or e-mail  Also, to keep up to date on other events and important information around the district, please check out my new website at

I look forward to seeing you there.
