ANNOUNCEMENTS
Students from Leyden High School are involved in a project to improve the quality of our environment. In the following days the students will be knocking on doors asking Northlake residents to support the planting of trees on their parkway. Trees provide numerous benefits, from cleaning our air to conserving energy needed to heat and cool our home. Please consider planting a tree on your parkway this spring.

We have recently experienced an increase of incidents where unlocked vehicles parked in residential driveways have been entered and rummaged through to find items of value. Most, but not all, of these incidents have occurred in the late evening or early morning hours. It is important that you lock your vehicles at all times when parked at your residence. The police department is actively investigating these incidents. In the meantime, if you see any suspicious subjects in your yard or driveway, call the police immediately.
