All Parade Participants must arrive NO LATER THAN 11;30

*Order of Placement                                                                                                                                                                                                                            

 1st: Veterans and/or Color Guard & Flag Bearers.

2nd: Mayor & other City of Northlake officials; other elected officials and representatives; candidates or their representatives seeking election. (In order of population representation) Any “grey-area” TBD by parade staff.  

3rd: our Senior Citizens.

4th: Special Groups.

5th: Northlake Baseball and other youth athletic organizations.

6th: Miscellaneous participants.

Participating Marching Bands will be placed between groups 2 through 5 on the day of the parade no later than 11:30 A.M.   

                                                                                                                                                                 

*Rules of Conduct          

Candies and other “handouts” are to be tossed, not thrown.

No Water Balloons or other thrown  devices/materials.

No Water or other Projectile-launch devices of any kind.  

Vehicle occupants MUST remain in/on vehicles.  

Motor Vehicles MUST BE operated responsibly. (i.e. No “burnouts”, “wheelies”, “standies”, etc.

No Alcoholic or other Intoxicant beverages/substances.    

 Children MUST be supervised by an adult.      

 Non-Motorized vehicles/conveyances (Pedal, push, etc. –powered) MUST be powered by their operators. (i.e. No “Latching”, “Skitching”, “Hitching”, etc.)  

 And last, but certainly not least, this parade honors and commemorates the founding fathers of this nation and their respective sacrifices to liberate us from a foreign sovereign. Displays of sovereign, foreign governments (flags, crests, symbols, etc.) or seditious, criminal or otherwise subversive organizations’ representations are also strictly prohibited.  

VIOLATORS SHALL BE EJECTED FROM THE PARADE AND DENIED FUTURE PARADE PARTICIPATION.
