On Thursday, September 11, 2014, St. John Vianney School celebrated a memorial for the lives that were lost on September 11, 2001.

At approximately 9:00 am, the school community gathered by the flagpole in the front of the school, for prayer and songs.  The school also participated in the “Prayer Service for Peace” in which the students, teachers, principal, staff and parents, processed around the school, praying and singing.  The memorial ceremony concluded with the students placing flags around the Blessed Mother in the garden behind the St. John Vianney Church. Father Luke led the school community in the consecration of St. John Vianney School and country to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
