The
activation of the Northlake Siren Warning System occurs in the event of
severe weather conditions, an attack or disaster. Tests of the system are
scheduled for the first Tuesday of each month, at 10:00 a.m.
N.I.P.A.S.
(NORTHERN POLICE ALARM SYSTEM) is an emergency mutual aid program.
N.I.P.A.S. response is called out in the event of natural disaster or an event
where additional assistance required by our community, such as tornado, large
fire, hostage situation or plane crash.
The Department
is also a member of the Illinois Law Enforcement Alarm System which is a state-wide mutual aid plan.
