Mission Statement

We, the members of the Northlake Police Department, exist to enhance the quality of life in the City of Northlake by working cooperatively with the public and within the framework of the United States Constitution to enforce the laws, preserve the peace, reduce the fear of crime and provide for a safe community.

We believe to be truly effective and responsive in our role, we will provide quality, empathetic, responsive and professional service for all of our citizens and visitors to our City, regardless of color, race or economic status.

Within community policing and community service as our foundation, we are striving to improve the quality of life in Northlake and to develop a lasting trust between the police and our citizens.

We believe that to be deserving of that trust and to build a strong partnership with our citizens, we must at all times hold ourselves accountable to the highest standards of professional police conduct and integrity.
