MINUTES OF THE 1,316TH MEETING OF

                                         CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTHLAKE

                                                    HELD ON MONDAY JUNE 4, 2007

The regular meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M.  Mayor Sherwin asked everyone to stand for the pledge of allegiance.  Mayor Sherwin called for the roll.

ROLL CALL:

PRESENT:  ALDERMAN STRAUBE, FELDMANN, DELGADO, PADILLA, NESSLING, REISTERER, GROCHOWSKI AND PATTI

OTHERS PRESENT:                  JOANNE FLOISTAD, CITY CLERK

Mayor Sherwin presented the minutes of the regular meeting held on May 21, 2007.  Alderman Patti made a motion to accept the minutes of the regular meeting held on May 21, 2007; seconded by Alderman Riesterer.  Mayor Sherwin asked if there were any additions or corrections.  Alderman Patti asked the Mayor where we stand with the ordinance for the collection boxes.  Mayor Sherwin said he would check in to this.  Alderman Patti also asked about the obstruction of view with the branches.  Mayor Sherwin said we have an ordinance on this already and now it is just an enforcement matter.   Mayor Sherwin called for a voice vote.  All were in favor.

MOTION TO ACCEPT THE MINUTES OF THE MAY 21, 2007

CITY COUNCIL MEETING CARRIED

Mayor Sherwin presented the minutes of the Planning Meeting held on May 22, 2007.  Alderman Patti made a motion to accept the minutes of the Planning Meeting held on May 22, 2007; seconded by Alderman Grochowski.  Mayor Sherwin called for a voice vote. All were in favor.

Alderman Patti made a motion to pay the warrants and vouchers if and when the funds become available; seconded by Alderman Delgado.  Mayor Sherwin called for the roll.

MOTION TO PAY THE WARRANTS AND

REPORTS OF THE STANDING COMMITTEES:

Alderman Patti said the next Safety Committee will be on Wednesday, June 13, 2007.

Mayor Sherwin said that there will not be a council meeting on July 2nd because of the holiday, but he may have to schedule a special meeting for July 9th depending on the scheduling of the bond issuance.

Mayor Sherwin presented the Relocation of Utilities at the Wolf Ridge Condominiums.  Alderman Patti made a motion to approve; seconded by Alderman Delgado. Mayor Sherwin called for a voice vote.  All were in favor.  The motion carried.

Mayor Sherwin presented the motion to Approve the Purchase of 29 Gail.  Alderman Padilla made a motion to approve; seconded by Alderman Riesterer.  Mayor Sherwin called for the roll.

MOTION TO APPROVE THE PURCHASE

Mayor Sherwin brought up the approval of the Lamar Billboard Lease Extension.  Alderman Riesterer made a motion to approve; seconded by Alderman Patti.  Mayor Sherwin called for the roll.

MOTION TO APPROVE THE

Mayor Sherwin opened up the discussion to the public.

Alderman Straube made a motion to go into Executive Session at 7:07; seconded by Alderman Delgado.  Mayor Sherwin called for a voice vote.  All were in favor.

MOTION TO GO INTO EXECUTIVE SESSION CARRIED

There being no further business, Alderman Straube made a motion to adjourn; seconded by Alderman Riesterer.  Mayor Sherwin called for a voice vote.  All were in favor.
